TRANSITIONAL EARLY-EXIT BILINGUAL MODEL
The Transitional Early Exit Bilingual Program in Irving ISD is designed to support Emergent Bilingual students by building a strong foundation in their native language while developing English proficiency. Students receive instruction in both languages with the goal of transitioning to English-only instruction. This program accelerates English acquisition while valuing students’ home language and supporting academic success.
