First Rating

The primary goal of Schools FIRST is to achieve quality performance in the management of school districts' financial resources, a goal made more significant due to the complexity of accounting associated with Texas' school finance system.

Each FIRST Report contains the following:

• FIRST Rating Information
  • Irving ISD's FIRST Rating
  • Details on Irving ISD's FIRST Indicators
• Disclosures
  • Superintendent's employment contract
  • Reimbursements received by superintendent and board
  • Outside compensation and/or fees received by superintendent
  • Gifts received by executive Officers and board
  • Business Transactions between district and board members
