Texas School Immunization Requirements
Texas law requires that all children attending public or private schools, as well as institutions of higher education, be properly immunized. To enroll in school, students must provide valid documentation of immunizations verified by a physician or a public health clinic. Acceptable records include a signed document listing each required immunization and the month, day, and year it was administered. Incomplete immunizations at enrollment must be completed as soon as permitted by medical guidelines. These requirements help protect the health of all students and support safe learning environments across Texas schools.
