Clinical Support for Student Health Conditions

Irving ISD is dedicated to keeping students healthy, safe, and ready to learn. Our school health practices focus on supporting student well-being, responding to illness or injury during the school day, and promoting healthy habits that contribute to academic success.

District health procedures are guided by Board-approved policies and state requirements to ensure consistent care and clear communication across all campuses. These policies outline how health services are provided, how families are notified when students are ill or injured, and how emergencies are handled. By working together with families, Irving ISD aims to create a supportive environment where students feel cared for and parents feel informed and confident in their child’s school experience.

Parents are encouraged to review relevant health guidelines and Board policies and to contact their campus health staff with any questions or concerns. Partnership between home and school is essential to helping every student thrive.
