Educational Information
Irving ISD School Health Services is dedicated to supporting the physical well-being of students and promoting healthy habits that help students succeed in school and beyond. Educating students about their health empowers them to make informed decisions, build lifelong wellness skills, and respond confidently in everyday and emergency situations.
Through age-appropriate health education opportunities, students learn essential topics that support overall wellness and safety, including growth and development, Stop the Bleed, self care, first aid, proper handwashing techniques, and more. These lessons help students understand changes in their bodies, practice good hygiene to prevent illness, and learn how to take action during a medical emergency.
By providing comprehensive health education and services, Irving ISD partners with families to create safe, healthy learning environments where students are prepared to thrive academically, socially, and physically.
