College Scholarships
College is right around the corner, and it is never too early to investigate ways to pay for college. Scholarships are a great option for many students!
Scholarships are usually based on one or more of the following criteria:
Performance Based
- Grade point average (GPA)
- College entrance exams, such as SAT and ACT scores
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Extracurricular activities, such as athletics, fine arts, special talents, community service, etc.
Need Based
- Financial need
- First-generation college student
- Demographics
Future Plans
- Enrollment in a specific university
- Plans to major in a specific field
