Fernando Natividad

Chief Financial Officer

Natividad brings 21 years of experience as an educator, including stints as central office and campus administrator. Most recently the finance, state and federal programs officer, Natividad has also served Irving ISD as assistant chief of finance, state and federal programs; executive director of state, federal and parent programs; director of state, federal and parent programs; director of state and federal programs; and division director of state and federal programs. 

Before joining Team Irving, he was director of instructional services and at-risk programs and a high school associate principal in Lake Dallas ISD; elementary principal at a charter school in Pleasant Grove; and assistant principal and high school teacher in Denton ISD. 

Natividad earned an educational leadership certification from Texas Woman’s University; a Master of Science in economics and a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Texas; and a bachelor’s degree from Coahuila State University in Mexico.
