Student Charge Guidelines

Irving ISD allows students to charge up to a maximum of five lunches on exhausted meal accounts for reimbursable lunches only. Any charge by a student will initiate a message through the School Messenger system to notify the parent of the charge.

Payments may be made via cash or check at the school cafeteria, or online at Schoolcafe.com. A student that has charged the district maximum of five lunches will be offered a courtesy lunch consisting of a cheese sandwich, vegetable or fruit and a carton of 100% fruit juice. Charging will be discontinued May 19, approximately two weeks prior to the last day of school.

The following items cannot be charged:

  • Ala carte and snack items
  • Meals for staff or visitors

Breakfast is offered at no cost to all Irving ISD students.

For the school year 2021 - 2022, ALL students will recieve FREE Breakfast and Lunch. Parents are NOT required to complete a meal benefits application for this school year to recieve free meals for students.

Please check this site next May 2022 to determine if you will need to fill out an application for free or reduced price meal benefits for School Year 2022 - 2023.
