Community Engagement

Five people stand in front of a green wall with text that reads %22A. HERNÁNDEZ INSTITUTE BUSINESS & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT.%22

Irving ISD’s Community Engagement programs are dedicated to fostering strong partnerships between schools, families, and the community to support student achievement and lifelong success. Through Parent Education & Community Engagement (PE&CE), HIPPY/HIEPE, and Adult Education & Literacy (AEL), we provide meaningful opportunities for family engagement, early childhood learning, adult education, workforce development, and access to community resources. By empowering families and strengthening connections, these programs help create a supportive environment where students, families, and community members can thrive.
