In the case of a life-threatening injury or illness, call 911 for emergency assistance.
Any injury/illness incurred on the job must be reported to your supervisor immediately, even if you don’t plan to seek medical treatment or miss work.
Complete the First Report of Injury (FROI) electronically [ linked in the icons below]. Starting July 1, 2025, the risk management department will no longer accept paper/printed copies of the first report of injury.
If/when you seek medical treatment, you will need to ensure your treating doctor is aware that you are using workers' compensation. Our carrier is TASB Risk Management Fund, you will need to see a doctor who is part of their Alliance Network. Providers in the Alliance may be selected from this link: https://www.pswca.org/find-a-provider.html.
Send a copy of your DWC73 form to HR-Risk@irvingisd.net after each visit
If you miss any work due to the injury, you need to notify HR-Risk@irvingisd.net and your supervisor (follow your standard absence reporting procedures.)
