The Department of STEM & Innovation, under the leadership of the Division of Learning Services, works with all campuses and departments to support digital age learning design thinking.

Mission: The Irving ISD STEM and Innovation Department Is committed to designing and implementing the instructional vision that will bring STEM experiences to all IISD learners.  

1. Design high level interdisciplinary STEM curriculum
2. Plan and model best practices of STEM education 
3. Encourage educational risk-taking and foster student independence  
4. Build teacher experts by creating personalized learning experiences across multiple platforms
