Transfers

Families that apply during the in-district priority window (March 3-April 17, 2026) will be notified via email that they have been accepted or wait-listed by May 8th, 2026. The transfer window will remain open after April 17th through July 10th. Families that did not get in during the priority window and those that apply during the second window will be notified of their status by the schools they applied for.

Admission into Singley Academy, De Zavala Middle School, Crockett Leadership Academy, Singley Collegiate Academy and South Irving Collegiate at Nimitz is based on an application and lottery process.

District students will be notified of the application timeline by their middle school campus and by visiting IrvingISD.net/SchoolChoice. 

Once your transfer has been accepted your child can stay in that schools feeder pattern unless the transfer is revoked due to attendance or behavior.
