    The Irving ISD Administration Building is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Summer hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday. All schools and offices are closed on Friday.

Tax Rate Information

  • 2017 Total Tax Rate

    Irving ISD adopted a 2017 total tax rate of $1.4314. The adopted total tax rate for 2016 was $1.4450. The 2017 total tax rate represnts a decrease of 1.36 cents.


    Maintenance and Operations Tax Rate

    [tex. Tax code § 26.05(b)(2)(a)&b]. The Irving ISD adopted a rate that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year’s tax rate. The tax rate will effectively be raised by 0.74 percent and will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $0.00.


    Interest and Sinking Tax Rate

    The 2017 I&S rate is $0.2614. The 2016 I&S tax rate was $0.2750. The Irving ISD adopted an interest and sinking tax rate that will decrease taxes for interest and sinking by 1.360 cents.
