The school district and Irving ISD schools would like to use text messaging as a way to communicate information, announcements and reminders to parents. Irving ISD parents and guardians who want to receive text messages from their child’s school are asked to “opt-in” by texting YES to 68453.
To be eligible to receive alerts, you must be listed as a parent or guardian with your mobile number on file at your child’s school.
Schools also share information through email, campus websites, and LivingTree.
Text YES from your mobile device(s) to 68453. You will receive a confirmation message from SchoolMessenger.
When you opt in, the SchoolMessenger notification system will recognize your mobile number and add you to the list for text alerts from your child’s school.
Irving ISD was named the 2015 National Advanced Placement (AP) District of the Year for expanding student access to AP courses and improving AP Exam performance.
$22.5 million in scholarships were award to students in 2015. 137 scholars were awarded scholarships through The Irving Schools Foundation.
