  • Yearbook Cover Contest Students of all grades are invited to submit an original entry for the Lively 2017-2018 Yearbook Cover

    Entries must meet these guidelines:

    • Incorporate this year’s school theme: “Learning takes you places!”
    • Include 2017-2018 somewhere in your artwork.
    • All artwork considered for the contest MUST be submitted to your teacher by December 8.
    • Artwork must be on white, unlined 8.5x11 paper.
    • Student’s name and teacher’s name must be on the BACK in PENCIL.
    • Be creative and do your best.
    • Make it colorful and have fun!


    The winning artist also receives a free copy of the yearbook!

    We look forward to seeing what our talented eagles create!

  • Chipotle Fundraiser Night

    Chipotle Burrito Make dinner a selfless act by joining us for a fundraiser at Chipotle to support Lively Elementary.

    Come in to the Chipotle at 2800 North Beltline Road in Irving on Thursday, December 7th between 5:00pm and 9:00pm, and bring this flyer with you or show it on your smartphone.

  • Thanksgiving Break

    Schools will be closed November 20-24, and the district's Administration Building will be closed November 22-24. All schools and offices will reopen November 27.

  • Current Irving ISD Bus Schedules to Continue

    On November 7, 2017;  Dallas County residents voted on several propositions including “Proposition A” which pertains to the transportation services Dallas County Schools provides to Irving ISD and several other metro districts. Preliminary election results show the majority of residents voted to abolish Dallas County Schools. Irving ISD students and families can expect bus transportation to continue despite the election results.  Click here to read a statement from Irving ISD.

    Parents and students, Irving ISD has a new anonymous bullying reporting form. This option will allow you to report any type of bullying - physical, verbal, cyber or online bullying - without disclosing your name or email address.
