How do I check my child’s grades?
Parents can check their child's grades by setting up a Canvas account. Canvas is the district's new learning management system. More information about Canvas including setting up a parent account can be found at IrvingISD.net/StudentCanvas.
When are student report cards distributed?
Report cards are distributed each six weeks. Student progress reports are issued at the end of the third week of each 6-week marking period. Visit the district's calendar at IrvingISD.net/Calendar for testing information.
What are state testing dates and subjects by grade levels?
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) sets the state’s testing dates for school districts across the state.
The STAAR test is administered to students in reading (grades 3-8), math (grades 3-8), writing (grades 4, 7), science (grades 5, 8), and social studies (grade 6). High school students take STAAR End-of-Course exams in Algebra I, English I & II, Biology and U.S. History.
