Cardwell Career Prep serves students who want to excel in a non-traditional high school setting, and those who attend Cardwell can also participate in career development programs offered at Irving ISD’s James A. Ratteree Career Development Center.

Students attending Cardwell Prep will have an opportunity to take these career and technical education courses. 

Cardwell Prep students take the knowledge they have learned in their CTE courses and utilize it to run student businesses that are open to the public.
