Signature Studies Department Recognized with Spurgeon Award
The Circle Ten Council of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) honored Irving ISD’s Department of Signature Studies with the William H. Spurgeon III Award. The Spurgeon Award is presented to programs and individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to Exploring - an interactive, worksite-based career education program affiliated with BSA. The team (including from left Laina McDonald, Ed.D., assistant superintendent of school leadership for Irving ISD; Zack Moore, Signature Studies coordinator; Shawn Blessing, director of Signature Studies; Miyosha Guinn, Signature Studies coordinator; and Ron Bragg, Signature Studies coordinator) was honored at the 5th annual Whitney M. Young Jr. & Character luncheon December 7 at the Hyatt Regency Dallas. Congratulations, Irving ISD Signature Studies.
