Lindsey Sanders, Principal

Lindsey Sanders, Principal

Upon receiving a bachelor of science in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2005, Lindsey Sanders began her career with Irving Independent School district at Schulze Elementary. Sanders taught a variety of grade levels and eventually moved into the Instructional Specialist position. In the summer of 2009, she traveled to Mumbai, India to train teachers working in slum schools about reading and English acquisition. Her experiences there pushed her expectations for students in Irving even further.  Sanders became passionate about the impact she could make on a larger group of students and began the journey for a Masters Degree in Educational Administration.

Sanders moved into an assistant principal role at Lively Elementary school in 2012 and moved in 2014 to John Haley Elementary to serve as an assistant principal. She is excited to be serving as the John Haley principal where she will work hand in hand with students, parents, and staff to make John Haley Elementary successful!
