Jasmine Crumby, Assistant Principal

Jasmine Crumby began her teaching career as a LIFE Aide at Travis Middle School in 2010. In 2011 she moved to Phuket, Thailand and spent a year and a half teaching at Kajonkietsuksa International School. There she taught second grade and served as the lower primary lead as well as a science curriculum and assessment writer.

Mrs. Crumby returned to Irving ISD in 2012 as an instructional aide for the World Languages Department at MacArthur High School. In 2013 Mrs. Crumby returned to Travis as a 6th and 8th grade English Language Arts and Reading teacher. In 2016 she became as the Dean of Students at Travis Middle School and in 2017-2018 she served as the campus Administrative Liaison. In January of 2019, she joined Singley Academy as an Assistant Principal.

Mrs. Crumby earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Texas and a Master’s in Educational Administration from Southern Methodist University. She is also a graduate of the Aspiring Leaders program with Teaching Trust. Mrs. Crumby’s mission as an educator is to partner with staff members, parents, students, and the Irving community to ensure that the students of Singley Academy are able to meet their goals and achieve their dreams.
