Tiffany Williams, Principal
Tiffany Williams is excited to serve as Principal for de Zavala Middle School. She graduated from Harding University with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and a master's degree in Science Education. She completed her certificate in Educational Leadership through Lamar University.
Mrs. Williams taught two years at the university level teaching Kinesiology courses and coaching volleyball, five years as a varsity volleyball coach and high school special education teacher, and four years teaching science in middle school.

Anne Belizaire, Assistant Principal
Ms. Belizaire earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with an ESOL Endorsement from the University of South Florida. After serving as an elementary teacher for a few years, she moved to Texas and joined the DZ family as a math teacher. During her time at de Zavala, Ms. Belizaire served in many roles including Math Department Chair, PLC lead, pre-service and new teacher mentor, Math Interventionist, Dean of Students, and most recently was Administrative Liaison. In 2019, Ms. Belizaire earned her Master of Education in Math Curriculum & Instruction from UTA and completed Lamar University’s Principal certification program in 2020. Ms. Belizaire is committed to the growth and achievement of all students and is excited to serve de Zavala in her role as Assistant Principal!

Manuel Treviño, Assistant Principal
Mr. Treviño earned his Bachelor of Science in Church Ministries from Southwestern Assemblies of God University. He then entered the field of education and taught as a bilingual teacher for six years. Mr. Treviño received his Masters in Educational Leadership and Policies Studies with a Dual Language endorsement from the University of Texas at Arlington. Shortly after graduating he served as an Adjunct Professor for the Education Department at the University of Texas at Arlington and for Tarrant County Community College. Mr. Treviño has served as a campus administrator for eight years and is looking forward to serving the community of de Zavala Middle School.

Citlaly Rivas, Administrative Liaison
Ms. Rivas graduated from Midwestern State University with her bachelor's degree in bilingual education and her master’s in educational leadership with an emphasis in bilingual education. Drawing from her own experience as an emergent bilingual student, she has dedicated her career to educate students who are navigating the path of English acquisition. She started out her educational journey as a tutor and a teacher for the program Communities in Schools (CIS) for elementary and middle school students. She later transferred to be a bilingual teacher at the elementary level. She has ten years of experience as a classroom teacher, and she is excited to join the Lorenzo de Zavala Family as the new Administrative Liaison.

Maricela Arroyo, Dean of Students
As an Irving ISD graduate, Mrs. Arroyo is happy to continue serving her community. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies Math with ESL and her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of North Texas. After 5 years at de Zavala, where she served as a math teacher and student council sponsor, Mrs. Arroyo transitioned to Houston Middle School where she served as a Math Interventionist. Mrs. Arroyo is excited to return to de Zavala as the Dean of Students. She is looking forward to an amazing school year with her Hawk family.
