Popcorn & Pickle
                  Fridays
~Every other Friday, starting September 26, PTA will sell popcorn and pickles to students.  Teachers will take money on Thursday and Friday and the popcorn and pickles will be delivered to rooms and handed out at dismissal.

 Effective August 1, 2008, a new city ordinance restricts the use of cell phones in all school zones.

Animals at the Texas State Aquarium

Johnston 2nd graders participated in a video conference with the Texas State Aquarium recently.  Students were introduced to alternate candidates for state animals and then had the opportunity to vote online and see which animals won.
