  •  Math & Reading Testing

     
    Students in grades 1 - 5 will take a math and reading test online to show their beginning of year knowledge and skills during the upcoming fortnight. Testing begins Monday, Aug. 31 and ends, Sept. 11.

  • Mr. Stephen Pollard is Named New Principal

     
    In 2014, we welcomed Mr. Stephen Pollard as an Assistant Principal at Johnston Elementary 
    where he promoted strong relationships between school, student 
    and family. In the spring of 2015 Mr. Pollard was named the new Principal for Johnston Elementary.  The room erupted in applause and a standing ovation! The faculty and staff are thrilled to have Mr. Pollard!

  • Welcome Mrs. Kristen Blaisure, New AP

     
    We are so thrilled to finally announce our new assistant principal here at A. S. Johnston. Please give a huge Jaguar Nation welcome to Mrs. Kristen Blaisure! She comes to us with a variety of PK-12 curriculum experience including a balanced literacy trainer of trainers, write from the beginning trainer, Leader in Me facilitator, practical parent educator, PBIS, GT, ESL, curriculum writer, assessment writer, and many others and is excited to be joining the team as the Assistant Principal at Johnston Elementary!
