It is our mission to:
- Create a safe and positive learning environment
- Provide for the unique needs and capabilities of the individual student
- Foster student responsibility for their learning and behavior
- Develop positive attitudes toward school, community and family
- Foster high self esteem in students
- Engage parents in a positive manner in their child's education
- Stimulate teachers to become partners in the students' educational
process so that students will be successful upon their return to their home campus
and within the community.

The Secondary Reassignment Center (RAC) program is an off campus discipline
management center mandated by Chapter 37 of the Texas Education Code. Even
though the RAC is a discipline management center, it offers many educational as
well as social/emotional programs for each student assigned by their home
campus. When a student is assigned to the RAC, his/her home campus provides
extended classroom instruction for their students who are assigned to the RAC.
Students are assigned to a teacher who will provide academic
support and monitor the student's progress using the RAC point system. The
RAC is not only a rigorous discipline and educational center, it is also a
counseling support center with numerous counseling programs available.
