Important information about Dual Credit Instructional Materials used in Fall 2023 courses

  • School year 2023-24 marks the fourth year of digital materials for Irving students participating in Dallas College's dual credit programs.

There are six methods for accessing these materials:

Method 1)  Students log in to Dallas College's eCampus to access their digital materials through the Learning Materials section of Brightspace delivered  Redshelf.

Method 2) Courseware ( Bypassproduct) Integrated into Brightspace shell through pairing

Method 3)  Courseware ( Willo product) - The student's instructor of record completes the process of "Pairing"  their course with the required materials and then provides the student with instructions on how to access online.

Method 4) Digital  Passcode - The student receives a passcode from the bookstore to access the material online, typically no later than the first week of the course.

Method 5)  In some situations, a student may access to materials via Redshelf and also be required to use a provided passcode to access other aspects of the course.

Method 6)  Print materials, if needed, can be delivered to each campus.  Typically, print materials supplement digital access .
