Sam Houston is very fortunate to be part of an amazing group of innovative schools from around the country to implement 1:1 technology through a partnership with Verizon and Digital Promise. Sam Houston will now also be known as a Verizon Innovative Learning School (VILS) and will be providing every student with an iPad and a monthly data usage plan. Students will receive devices in early October. Before the distribution date, a parent/guardian must attend 2  VILS Parent Orientation sessions BEFORE their child receives an iPad.
