    Spring Break/Student Holidays – Fri., March 10 through Mon., March 20


    Students come back on Tuesday, March 21 - It is a FREE DRESS DAY
    for reaching our Jump for Heart Fundraiser Goal!


    Irving ISD schools and offices will be closed for spring break next week, March 13-17. Since Friday,
    March 10 and Monday, March 20 were designated as bad weather make-up days but were not utilized, March 10 and March 20 are now student holidays as well.

    · Schools will be closed to the public March 10-20.

    · District offices will be open March 10 and March 20 but closed March 13-17 for spring break.

    • March 23: BUILDING WITH DAD night 5:30-6:30 P.M. 
    • March 28: STAAR Writing 4th Grade & STAAR Math 5th Grade
    • March 29: STAAR Reading 5th & District Benchmark Math 4th Grade
    • March 30: District Benchmark Reading 4th Grade
    • March 31: District Benchmark Reading 3rd Grade

       *Please make sure your child gets a good night’s rest and comes to school on time! 

    Ice Awards   Congratulations to our ICE (Irving Celebrates Excellence) Awards Winners!

     - Torchlighters earned 1st Place with our Torch Run Fund Raiser for Special Olympics!


     - And Ms. Hurt’s and Ms. Holbrook’s Classes won 3rd Place for their “Hope for the Homeless” Project that raised money, food, clothing and blankets for our homeless shelters!

Irving ISD Points of Pride

    General Information

    • Doors open at 7:00 a.m.; Bell rings at 7:30 a.m.; Tardy Bell rings at 7:45 a.m.
    • Attendance - students with perfect attendance and no tardies all week can wear jeans on Friday!
    • Live animals (except for service animals with a 10 day prior District Approval) are NOT allowed on campus at any time.
    • Parent Lunch Days - on Wednesdays and Fridays. 
    • If you plan on volunteering or attending field trips, please make sure you fill out a background check on the Parent Tab.
