    The Townley Torchlighters are CHAMPIONS!
Irving Police Department Torch Run Penny Drive

You are all aware, we do this little penny drive with IPD that benefits their Torch Run for Texas Special Olympics.  We are sort of the dominating IISD factor.  Well anyway, you will not believe who raised the most money this year!  YOU DID!!  Townley is the reigning 5 TIME CHAMP!!  This year you raised $9,388.85.  That is just an incredible amount of love for an awesome organization.
    Thank you Townely!

     Traffic Alert!

    Traffic Update

Shortly, a yearlong water project will begin along Oakdale Road resulting in a change of traffic patterns.  Due to increased traffic, from rerouting, please do not park along Vilbig from MacArthur to Meyers.  This section must remain available for two-way traffic.  The recommended route to access MacArthur will be down Myers and right on Oakdale.

When construction is underway, there will be deep tunnels dug along Oakdale Road.  Remind your children to avoid these tunnels.  The project is essential to keep city services up to par, but the safety of our children is our first concern.
