We have designated days for parent open lunch!
Our cafeteria size is challenging, so we welcome you to eat lunch with your child on the assigned day below.
Monday: Kindergarten (Ms. Davis & Ms. Wieck)
Tuesday: Kindergarten (Ms. Castro, Ms. Shaukat and Ms. Stojak) and Third Grade student parents are welcomed
Wednesday: First and Fifth Grade student parents are welcomed
Thursday: Kindergarten (Ms. Negron & Ms. Anderson) Second and Fourth Grade student parents are welcomed
Kindergarten and first grade students may be accompanied by a parent to their classroom for the first two days of school only. All parents and vistors must sign in at the main office and obtain a Raptor visitor badge. Students may enter the building at 7:15am. Students wait in the cafeteria (grades K-2) and gym (grades 3-5) until 7:30am. At 7:30am, students transition to their homeroom class. School starts at 7:45am.
Irving ISD was named the 2015 National Advanced Placement (AP) District of the Year for expanding student access to AP courses and improving AP Exam performance.
$22.5 million in scholarships were award to students in 2015. 137 scholars were awarded scholarships through The Irving Schools Foundation.
