Linda Torres-Rangel
Linda Torres-Rangel, formerly the director of ESL and language services, is the principal of Schulze Elementary School.
With 18 years of experience in Irving ISD and 24 years total in public education, Torres-Rangel has worked as a bilingual teacher, counselor, assistant principal, coordinator of state and federal compliance and director of language and parent services.
She earned a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in counseling from Texas A&M University - Commerce.

Jon Huricks, Assistant Principal
Mr. Huricks is an assistant principal for Schulze Elementary. Before joining the Schulze team, Mr. Huricks served as an Assistant Principal for Townsell Elementary for two years. This is his eighteenth year in education. Mr. Huricks is a graduate from the prestigious Grambling University with a Bachelor’s of Science in - Electronics Engineering Technology degree and went on to earn his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of North Texas. Mr. Huricks served as a Math teacher for fourth, sixth, and seventh grade students for a combined length of fourteen years. Mr. Huricks is looking forward to engaging with teachers, students, staff, and parents to help Schulze Elementary have a great and successful school year.

Liliana Villado, Assistant Principal
Dr. Villado feels honored to serve as an Assistant Principal at Schulze Elementary. She enters her 14th year in education at Irving ISD, serving students and the community in different capacities. She began her education career in Irving as a bilingual classroom teacher for six years and a K-5 reading bilingual interventionist for five years. Her most recent role was serving the Keyes community as Assistant Principal for the past two years. She is a passionate mentor and coach and enjoys encouraging, supporting, and empowering teachers and staff.
As a servant leader, she believes in the importance of a positive school culture and climate and cultivating a positive teaching and learning environment for students and staff. She has a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction-Literacy emphasis from UTA and recently earned an Ed.D. in Leadership from ACE. She is committed to continuously learning and growing as a lifelong learner.
On a personal note, she is a proud momma of Aaron, who is nine years old, and Anthony, who is four.
Dr. Villado looks forward to serving and building strong relationships with the students, staff, and parents of Schulze Elementary! One team, One vision!
