Angela M. Long, Principal
Principal Long began her educational career in 1998 as a teacher at David G. Burnet Elementary School in Dallas ISD. She then worked as an instructional specialist at Frank Borman Elementary School in Denton ISD. In 2008, she joined Irving ISD as an assistant principal for Thomas Haley Elementary. Before joining the J.O. Davis staff, she served as the principal of Jackie Mae Townsell Elementary. Long earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Central Oklahoma and her M.Ed. and M.B.A from Texas Woman's University.
Principal Long works hard to ensure that all staff members have the necessary resources and professional development to provide learners with the absolute best education. She calls herself a reflective thinker who continuously strives to improve personally and professionally and she expects the same from staff members and learners.

Susan Duran, Assistant Principal
Susan Duran is from Dallas, TX and she’s passionate about education. Ms. Duran earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas in Arlington; her area of focus was Interdisciplinary studies, she also earned her Master’s in Educational Leadership at Lamar University. Ms. Duran began her educational career in DISD where she taught K, 2nd and 5th grade. She decided to pursue other areas in education and began working for Irving ISD in 2013 as a reading and math intervention specialist.
Ms. Duran is a very positive person and believes that anything is possible. Her positive demeanor will be contagious, her commitment to staff members and students will be seen, and her work ethic will be evident. She has a true heart and dedication to students therefore; she has high expectations for all students at J.O. Davis Elementary School.

Tammeka Foreman, Assistant Principal
Tammeka Foreman began her educational career in Irving in 2008. She was a general education teacher at A.S. Johnston Elementary before she began sharing her leadership skills and instructional expertise as the K-2 literacy specialist and academic specialist at Jackie Mae Townsell Elementary. In 2016, she was promoted to assistant principal at J.O. Davis Elementary in Irving.
Ms. Foreman's educational credentials include her Bachelor's degree from University of North Texas (Denton) as well as her Master's degree in Teaching from Texas Woman's University (Denton). She also earned her principal certification from the University of Texas at Tyler.
Passionate and committed to serving students and creating strong communities, Ms. Foreman works with all stakeholders to do what's in the best interest for all students.
