  • Employee Emergency Paid Leave (EEPL)

    In response to the current pandemic, Irving ISD will continue to maintain proper and safe operations while also providing some form of relief to all of our employees. Although the administration will not provide coverage under all previous categories of relief covered through the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA), which expired December 31, 2020; the administration will ensure that employees, who did not use FFCRA leave prior to December 31, in the following categories, continue to receive relief:

    (1) those who contract COVID-19, and 

    (2) those who are determined to be a close contact to a positive individual based on CDC guidelines.

    Employees who qualify under these categories and who did not use FFCRA leave prior to December 31 will be provided with a maximum of 10 days without having to use their own accruals. This provision will end June 30, 2021.
