To become a Dallas County Promise scholar, students take three easy steps:
Complete the Dallas County Promise PATH form. Visit DallasCountyPromise.org to start the process.
Complete the 2023-24 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This free application determines a student’s eligibility for need-based federal financial aid for college.
Students who are not eligible for FAFSA money can complete the 2023-24 Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA). The priority deadline for the FAFSA/TASFA application is January 15.
