Texas Vaccines For Children (TVFC) Program

  • CareVan Irving (TVFC Provider) 

    The Vaccines For Children (VFC) program is a federally funded program that provides vaccines at no cost to children who might not otherwise be vaccinated because of inability to pay.

    A child is eligible for the VFC Program if he or she is younger than 19 years of age and is one of the following:

    • Medicaid-eligible
    • No Insurance 
    • Underinsured (Private Insurance does not cover vaccines)
    • American Indian or Alaska Native

    The following vaccines are currently offered through the Texas Vaccines for Children program:

    • DTaP/DT/Td/Tdap
    • Hepatitis A
    • Hepatitis B
    • HIB
    • HPV
    • Influenza (Seasonal)
    • Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR)
    • MMRV
    • Meningococcal (MCV4)
    • Meningococcal B (BEXERO)
    • Pneumococcal (PCV13)
    • Polio
    • Varicella (Chickenpox)
