Important information about Dual Credit Instructional Materials used in Fall 2021 courses
-
School year 2021-22 marks the second year of going digital ( almost entirely) when it comes to instructional materials for Irving's students participating in Dallas College's dual credit programs.
There are five different methods for delivering these materials:
Method 1) Redshelf- All a student will need to do is login into Dallas College's eCampus to access their digital materials.
Method 2) Courseware- A student's instructor of record will have to complete the process of "Pairing " their course with the required materials and then provide the student with instructions on how to access them online.
Method 3) Passcode- A student receives a passcode from the bookstore to access the material online, hopefully by end of the first week of the course.
Method 4) In some situations a student may have access to materials via Redshelf and also be required to use a provided passcode to access other aspects of their course.
Method 5) Print Materials, if needed, will be delivered to each campus by the district for provision to students. Usually, print materials supplement digital access .
